The Compact Rail Plus Series linear guides feature double-row ball bearings for higher load ratings, rigid rails with convex raceways and new robust steel runners with longitudinal protection and movable wipers. Compact Rail Plus is designed for the most demanding applications in terms of load capacity, dynamics and working environment. The self-alignment capability has been retained, making this product family unique.

Roller guide with double-row ball bearing for particularly high loads

Compact Rail Plus linear guides have double-row ball bearings for higher load capacities, new robust steel sliding guides with longitudinal protection and floating wipers. By combining two rails with different runners, self-aligning systems can be created which can compensate for alignment errors in two planes: axially up to 3.5 mm and radially up to ±1.3°.

PR/PNR rail (Rollon TG/TMG): C profile rail with convex inner raceways, made of cold drawn carbon steel.

RPF guiding sliders (Rollon RV): Can support loads and moments in all directions, especially in radial direction.

RPL floating sliders (Rollon RP): Can move easily axially and rotate easily in Mx without affecting preload and smoothness.

RPE extra-floating sliders (Rollon RU): Can move completely axially and rotate easily in Mx without affecting preload and smoothness.

RPK rotating sliders (Rollon RA): These runners consist of fixed and floating bearing rollers. They can carry the full radial load and guide the payload during the movement. The rollers can rotate easily in Mx without affecting the preload and the running smoothness. These rotors compensate for angular errors in the mounting surfaces.

  • Available rail lengths from 160 mm to 3,600 mm (6.3 in to 142 in) in 80 mm increments (3.15 in), longer individual rails up to max. 4,080 mm (160.6 in) on request for sizes 28 and 43.
  • Roll material: steel 100Cr6 (also available in stainless steel AISI 440)
  • Roller pin lubricated for life
  • Roller sealing/shielding: 2RS (splash-proof)
  • For sizes 28 and 43, the rails and rotor bodies are galvanised as standard to ISO 2081, the raceways are induction hardened and ground.
  • For size 18 the rails are hardened with a Rollon-Nox treatment with deep nitriding and black oxidation and the rotor bodies are galvanised as standard according to ISO 2081.
  • Rail material of rails size 28-43: cold drawn carbon steel CF53
  • Rail material of size 18 rails: cold drawn carbon steel 20MnCr5

Comments

  • It is possible to create self-aligning systems F+L / R+D or K+L / K+E (Rollon V+P / V+U o A+P / A+U) to compensate for inherent misalignment of the mounting surfaces.
  • Robust RP...O rotor (Rollon RD) in steel with double row ball bearings, lateral seals and floating wipers. Also available in RP...P version with mounting holes parallel to the main load direction.
  • Various anti-corrosion treatments available for rails and rotor bodies: zinc plating according to ISO 2081 (standard for rail size 28-43 and all rotor bodies), Rollon-Nox (standard for rail size 18), Rollon Aloy, Rollon E coating and nickel plating.
  • Compact dimensions due to the C-profile, which contains the runners and rollers.
  • Induction hardened and ground raceways (sizes 28-42)
