Uniline System
The Uniline System is a family of compact, ready-to-install linear axes that provide high travel speeds. It is based on the roller system of Compact Rail linear guides in a self-supporting extruded aluminium profile. It is driven by a steel-reinforced polyurethane timing belt. Longitudinal seals and brushes at the inlet and outlet of the timing belt completely seal Uniline. The linear axis profile can be used with a variety of commercially available mounting components.
The linear guides in the Compact Rail product family ensure excellent performance in terms of speed and life. The guide rails in the linear axes are arranged in the four product ranges in different combinations for a wide range of applications. The use of long runners or multiple runners increases the variety.

Aluminium profile: The self-supporting profile used in the linear units of the UNILINE series have been designed and constructed in collaboration with a manufacturer in this sector, so that anodized precision extrusion profile with high mechanical properties and high moments of inertia per unit area could be realized. The material used is anodised aluminium made of alloy 6060. The dimensions are tolerated according to EN 755-9. On the outside of the extrusion profile are also grooves for quick and easy installation and for fixing accessories.
Drive Belt: The linear units of the UNILINE series use steel-reinforced polyurethane timing belts with AT-tooth profile. This toothed belt type has proven to be the most suitable for drive transmission in linear units with regard to permissible drive torques, compactness and noise generation. The combination with zero backlash timing belt pulleys thus enables alternating loads without backlash. The following properties can be achieved by utilising the maximum timing belt width specified by the profile and setting an optimum belt pretension:

Carriage: The carriage of the linear units of the UNILINE series is made of anodised aluminium. Each carriage plate has T-slotted slots for mounting the components. In order to accommodate the wide range of applications, Rollon offers a large number of different carriage types.
