Thanks to the special drawer lock technology, Mailguard letterbox systems provide effective protection against the theft of letters, mainly from bank or municipal mailboxes. Unlike conventional mailboxes with inadequate removal protection, Mailguard has a letter lock. When the drawer is pulled open, the collection box is protected against tampering by means of a flap mechanism. When the drawer is closed, the flaps lower and the letter falls into the collection container and can only be removed by authorized persons.
