Blind Rivet Nuts are used for application where only 1 side or hole of the work pieces is accessible. The blind rivet nuts consist of a body with an internal thread. By compressing the blind rivet nut using a tool - the process can be carried out pneumatically, with a battery or by hand - a bead is created on the underside. The design of the head and this bead hold the nut on the respective component.

A suitable tool is required to process the blind rivets. This can be driven by muscle power (hand tools) or external power (e.g. pneumatic-hydraulic tools or battery-powered riveters).
