PSG torsionally stiff roller linear guide - versatile, individual, rustproof & inexpensive.
The PSG roller guide, also called PSG rail, is an in-house development by HA-CO. It is an economical roller guide, which is extremely insensitive to dirt thanks to the internal raceways. HA-CO offers a wide variety of roller guides from stock and also manufactures individual special solutions and special guides on request.
Structure, properties & areas of application
Track roller guideways are modular longitudinal guideways and can be used for a wide variety of applications. They allow linear movements and are used in the industrial environment for machines and production plants with higher requirements regarding load capacity, zero backlash and smooth running.
Due to their lightweight construction, they are well suited for use in handling systems. They are particularly characterized by low-noise operation, high travel speeds, long displacement distances and the modular system. Hardened roller guide rails and roller guide carriages with ball bearings also prevent wear and ensure a long service life.
HA-CO's PSG roller guide is embossed rolled and the roller journals are lubricated for life to eliminate the need for subsequent maintenance.

Important: Arrangement of the rollers
Lubrication - designed for life
All roller journals of PSG roller guides are lubricated for life. For optimum running performance, a lubricating film is recommended between the raceway and the roller. The required lubrication interval is highly dependent on various factors such as environmental conditions, speed, cycle and temperature.
Under normal conditions, relubrication is recommended after approximately 100 km of running or after six months of operation. In critical applications, the interval should be shorter. Before lubrication, the running surfaces must be carefully cleaned in each case. As a lubricant, we recommend a medium consistency rolling bearing grease. Proper lubrication under normal conditions reduces friction, wear and running noise. In addition, lubrication increases running smoothness and service life of the PSG rails.
Standard Runners
In HA-CO's range, runners are available with various roller guides, each with three, four and five rollers. The rollers are made of rolling bearing steel in the RL version and of stainless steel in the RLE version. The runner plate is made of stainless steel for both versions.
Special runners - customized special solutions
On request HA-CO manufactures customized roller guides for its customers. Different requirements such as flexible length, different number of rollers on the same runner plate, etc. are possible.
