The 9308's locking function is operated by a lever. This ensures that the pull-outs can only be moved when the lever is operated to prevent unwanted movement during travel.
Advantages flat or side mounting
Drawer slides are mounted on the sides of a drawer, right? However, this does not always have to be the case. There are various applications where flat mounting telescopic slides makes sense. Other reasons for flat mounting include appearance, function and performance.
However, it can also be useful to combine flat mount telescopic slides with side mounted slides. Particularly with wide drawers that are also heavily loaded, there is a risk of lateral swing-out. By combining horizontally and vertically mounted drawer slides, such a drawer is made much more stable because the load value of the drawer slide decreases. (The load capacity should be calculated with no more than 25% of the normal load value. For example, if the load value is 40kg for a standard vertically mounted telescopic slide, it is reduced to 10kg if the slides are mounted horizontally).
