Press-in machines from HA-CO
Fasteners such as nuts, bolts, rivets or screws can be pressed into almost any material. However, this only works with the help of an appropriate press-in machine.
Compared to the common modern procedure of simply welding fasteners such as punched and welded nuts or even bolts onto a larger component, press-fitting offers significant advantages. The processes are fast and traceable, the operations save energy, and the individual elements are fed automatically.
Advantages of the technical functions
- The press-in pressure of the machine is applied evenly over the entire stroke, because the preset force can be called up at any point of the stroke. It is no longer necessary to readjust the safety system.
- Hydraulic systems can reduce energy consumption by up to 40% compared to pneumatic systems and are therefore energy-saving and environmentally friendly. Energy consumption in standby is a full 85% less than the energy required under full load.
- A manual J-frame enables press-fitting even in sheet metal structures that are difficult to access.
- Thanks to the fast force adjustment, setting up the machine only takes a few seconds - operation is child's play.
- The fixed stop ensures that the stop position of the cylinder can be precisely set and maintained for subsequent press-fitting operations. A high level of process reliability can thus be achieved, particularly with soft workpieces.
