HA-CO: A group with a purpose

The HA-CO Group combines four companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. These operate independently, but sell similar products and work closely together. The exchange among each other allows a constant improvement and the use of synergies. The entire group has been in family hands since its foundation. First and foremost, the HA-CO Group serves the market in the DACH region but also works Europe-wide. The special feature of our group is that each of the four companies has its core competence in one product category. This constellation enables our customers to access a unique pool of knowledge. Thanks to this, complex processes can be worked out within the group and optimal solutions can be achieved. Our primary purpose is to generate added value for our customers that is more than just financial.
This is illustrated by a practical example from the mechanical engineering sector:
A problem arose in a management unit because it had to be operated very precisely in parallel. After internal replacement, a solution was realized thanks to a connecting shaft with safety couplings. This was made possible by the close cooperation between the linear technology specialists from Switzerland and the coupling specialists from Kleinwallstadt, who in turn obtained the carbon connecting shaft from the Wallerstein plant. Ultimately, one thing is important for the customer: he has received the desired result from a single source, without any major detours.
Spread over four locations, the HA-CO Group currently has around 80 motivated employees who look forward to offering you high-quality products and services every day.

The HA-CO companies are part of the Haudenschild Holding AG with headquarters in Altendorf (CH). It all started in 1980 with Haudenschild AG. This was founded in Rapperswil-Jona (CH), by Willy Haudenschild as a trading company with a focus on coupling and linear technology and operated successfully for over two decades. In 2002, the company was taken over by Werner Haudenschild, who with passion and vision realized a steady expansion of the product range in the field of drive technology. Another milestone was set in 2006, when in Altendorf (CH), more than 1400 m² of own office, warehouse and production facilities were acquired. Since then, many innovations have followed, including the change of name to HA-CO Motion AG in 2019.

The further development to Haudenschild Holding AG took place in 2013 through the acquisition of the coupling specialists HA-CO GmbH in Kleinwallstadt (DE). Their main focus is on the production of special couplings according to customer specifications. In order to be able to offer a comprehensive and up-to-date range, the product portfolio is constantly being expanded. Another step towards the future and innovation is also the planning for a new building in Kleinwallstadt. Larger and well-equipped production rooms and well-designed storage areas will enable better testing and even more sophisticated quality assurance in the future. Modern workplaces will be created that will contribute to the progress of the entire company.

In order to gain access to the Austrian market and also to take a first step into the field of fastening technology, the company HA-CO GmbH was established in Traun (Austria) near Linz. Our connection technology specialists work there and distribute quality products from their well-stocked warehouse. The demand for linear and coupling products is also increasing here, so that our know-how from the other locations can be put to use.
HA-CO Carbon GmbH in Wallerstein (DE) is our latest addition. The company manufactures carbon components that can be used in a wide variety of applications. First and foremost, the components are used in industry and architecture, while milling services are offered for the aerospace industry, among others. The exceptional machinery and various manufacturing options offer the possibility for innovative projects and products.

In addition, we are continuously monitored by the accredited certification body EQM-ZERT and are thus certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
