Metal bellows from a specialist!

Metal bellow couplings are torsional resistant couplings, also known as bellow coupling, metal bellow coupling, miniature coupling, servo coupling, torsion resistant coupling, bellow clutches, etc. They transmit the rotation backlash-free and in precise angles from one shaft end to the other. Misalignments on the shafts caused by production- and assembly inaccuracies, as well as thermal expansion and other deformation will be balanced by the lateral, angular and axial flexible metal bellow. No invalid high bearing load arise, which could otherwise result due to rigid couplings. The various coupling types differ in different sizes and in the sort of shaft-hub connection, plus in material. Keyways and similar normally are unnecessary.

If a radial screw for space reasons is not possible, the MKK-S bellows offers it (Metal bellow, steel, clamping cone). It is equipped with a clamping cone which is stretched from the front side. Suitable for large applications from 15 to 500 Nm. The hubs are manufactured in steel and welded to the metal bellows.

MKJ-S is the big brother of MKJ series. The clamping hubs are equipped with two screws. The hubs are manufactured in steel and welded to the metal bellows. The ideal solution for precise and accurate angle connecting two shafts. It can axial, lateral and angular misalignment between two shaft ends are balanced.
