Press-in threaded bushing
The press-in fasteners, usually designed as thread carriers, are used to produce a heavy-duty thread in thin sheet metal, printed circuit boards and plastic parts. By pressing the fastener into a flowable material, the material is forced into a special clearance (undercut) in the area of the hole, which holds the fastener in the sheet metal. The torsional strength is achieved by a special tooth or hexagonal profile. Also available as a press-fit bushing.
