Application example heavy duty pull-outs

The range of applications for heavy-duty pull-outs is broad and can range from heavy drawers to platforms for cars. Everyone has a different understanding of the term heavy-duty pull-out. At HA-CO, we talk about heavy-duty pull-outs with a load of approx. 150 kg or more, and today we would like to present one such application.

Mr. Muntwyler from Circus Monti in Switzerland came to us with the wish to increase the surface area of his kitchen trolley by being able to pull the wall out to the side. Due to the load and the low deflection, our solid heavy-duty pull-outs were used for this application.

After the design, calculation and construction phase, it was clear that these had to be mounted underneath the kitchen trolley. The photos show our SKV series in size 80 when extended. Each pair of these rails can support a weight of around 860 kg. A total of 8 rails have been installed here.

These rails are milled steel profiles which have a very high resistance to deflection. This ensures that the pulled-out part does not sag and that no vibrations occur when working in the trolley.

The smooth running of the rails makes it easy to open and close the section and the kitchen trolley is ready for use quickly after being set up.

We are delighted that Circus Monti will be able to enjoy its kitchen trolley for a long time with these rails and wish it a successful tour in 2024.
